PM Mette Frederiksen is now responding to the meeting between the U.S. president and NATO’s secretary general in Davos, where a framework agreement on Greenland was concluded. “The Kingdom of Denmark continues to seek a constructive dialogue with allies on how we can strengthen security in the Arctic, including the United States’ Golden Dome, provided this takes place with respect for our territorial integrity,” Mette Frederiksen said in a written statement on Thursday morning. In the statement, the prime minister confirms that she has been in ongoing contact with Mark Rutte, “including both before and after his meeting with President Trump in Davos.”
